Foundation Repair Tulsa

If you are looking for a Tulsa foundation repair company, call the experts at PowerLift Foundation Repair. We are Oklahoma owned and operated, servicing the entire state of Oklahoma, as well as the Tulsa metro area. When it comes to residential and commercial foundation repairs, let PowerLift Foundation Repair help with all of your problems.

What is the Powerlift System?

We engineered and utilize our own PowerLift System to deliver the best results when stabilizing and raising residential and commercial structures. In addition, we use all new materials and design Powerlift pilings for extra strength and maximum corrosion resistance backed by a lifetime guarantee. The PowerLift System drives PowerLift Steel Piers through unstable soils to Bed Rock or a True Load-Bearing Strata.

When PowerLift visits your home or business, we will evaluate all of the options that are available to you for securing your foundation. For example, these options can include any combination of straight steel piers, helical piers, mudjacking, and high density poly foam.

Straight Steel Piers

When using straight piers, we use the weight of the house to drive it deeper into the soil until we reach a firm foundation of soil; many times that can be bedrock. We insert sections of pipe directly into the ground and, using our patented synchronized lifting system, we push the pipe deeper into the ground. Once we get to the end of that pipe, we weld another section on and continue the process until we reach the solid point to which we are going to affix the house. Our experts weld steel plates to the top of the pipe sections and adhere those to the foundation.

Helical Piers

When the ground becomes too difficult to penetrate, we utilize helical piers. The helical pier acts much like a screw and turns into the soil, digging itself deeper. This allows us to get deeper into the soil without putting too much stress on the structure. With the use of helical piers, only the first section of pipe is different than the normal piers. The screw head at its end digs itself deeper where Straight Steel Piers might otherwise fail to penetrate. The finishing process is the same as straight piers.

Mudjacking

Other options for foundation repairs include mudjacking and high density polyurethane foam. We generally use Mudjacking to raise interior concrete floors. The process of pouring a foundation can leave a void in the space below the foundation after it settles, or ground water can slowly move that soil out. With mudjacking, we can inject mud under the foundation and fill that void to bring the floor back to level. This works well for large open areas where there is a noticeable concave section.

Mudjacking in general does not raise the floor much but helps fill the void. Furthermore, for maximum floor lifting power, we use high density polyurethane foam foundation repair. This foam goes in and expands to fill the voids. This has the ability to lift your concrete foundation beyond the limits of mudjacking. We also use foam concrete repair on driveways to bring them back to level. Our experts drill a small hole in the concrete and pump the foam in to raise the slab back to its proper place.
